Making A Purchase

Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.

We accept credit and debit card payment.

When confirmation of order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.

Shipping And Handling

All goods are re-wrapped in discreet, plain packaging for delivery to your door, usually within 5 working days from your order (depending on availability).

The package will be sent either by first class post or courier. We make a standard charge for deliveries in Mainland UK of £6.99. For deliveries elsewhere please contact us for a delivery quotation.

Delivery Schedule

We process your order right away. We will normally send your order to you in 3 business days. All delivery times quoted on the website are estimates only. International orders depend upon the destination countries.

Back Orders

If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.

Tax Charges

For orders made from the UK or the European Union, 17.5% VAT is added. All other orders are VAT free.

VAT Relief

HM Customs advise we can sell certain items to eligible persons zero rated for VAT without obtaining a signed VAT declaration provided they are purchased in quantities of not more than:

- 200 disposable pads
- 50 washable pads
- 5 collecting devices
- 10 pairs of waterproof or leak proof underwear.

In order to be eligible for relief purchases must be by an individual for domestic or personal use, and not by an institution such as a nursing home.

If you have selected an item that is zero rated for VAT by accepting our terms you WARRANT that you are eligible for such relief. If not please contact us to discuss ordering subject to VAT.

Credit Card Security

When an order is placed at our website credit card numbers are encrypted and sent directly to our Merchant Clearance bank, BANK OF SCOTLAND PLC. We do not receive or hold this information and BANK OF SCOTLAND debit your account and credit ours directly. Debits to your account will appear as follows: HDS Personal Care Products Ltd.

The Paypal payment system uses a combination of established and innovative techniques to ensure the security and integrity of all sensitive data. Our internet facing web servers are certified by Verisign, this ensures that no third parties can impersonate Paypal to obtain secure information.

Transaction Security

The transfer of the less sensitive transaction details from the retailer's site to Paypal is encrypted and digitally-signed. This ensures that the information passed is secure and tamper-proof.

Security for the Shopper

Any communication between the customer and Paypal is encrypted to the maximum strength supported by the customer's browser. The customer is also protected from fraudulent use of their card in a "card not present" environment, by their card issuer.

All data stored on Paypal systems is held on encrypted and highly secured databases.

S&E Enterprises Ltd do not disclose buyers' information to third parties other than when order details are processed as part of the order fulfilment. In this case, the third party will not disclose any of the details to any other third party.

Returns Policy

Your rights to return goods are protected under the EU Distance Selling Directive which can be found at http://www.hmso.gov.uk/si/si2000/20002334.htm

If you are a consumer and you order any item from us you have the statutory right within the United Kingdom to cancel the order and return any goods ordered in exchange for a refund. This statutory right of cancellation starts on the date that you submit your order and expires within seven working days beginning on the day after the day on which you receive the goods (hereinafter the "UK Statutory Right of Cancellation").

To cancel your order you should notify us by email, fax or in writing, and send the goods back to us within twenty one days of the date of cancellation. You are responsible for ensuring that the goods are received by us and are not damaged in transit. Goods should therefore be securely packaged. We recommend that you return items using recorded delivery, for your protection.

You are also responsible for the cost of returning items to us, unless the items were incorrectly delivered on our part, or the items are damaged or faulty.

Hds Online Returns policy

At Hds we aim to provide you with the highest standards of customer service. If you need to return goods bought online, please follow the guidelines below:

1. All products can be returned for refund providing they are in an unused and good condition. Customers have a duty of care towards the goods whilst they have them.
2. All non faulty goods for refund must reach us within 21 days of the date of cancellation.
3. To help us process your return, goods should be accompanied by your name and contact details, the order number and the date of purchase. This will allow us to refund you correctly.
4. Hds will refund (including postage costs) any product which is wrongly delivered, is damaged on delivery or is found to be faulty after investigation.
5. Hds will not refund postage expenses for non faulty goods returned.
6. Subject to the UK Statutory Right of Cancellation, any proper and reasonable costs that Hds incur for the collection of non faulty goods will be deducted from your refund.
